Never Too Late

I have done a lot of bad things in my life, and made terrible decisions that hurt people. You learn from your mistakes, though,  and you realize it’s never too late to turn your life around. Never too late to make a difference.

I was out on a long run on Saturday and afterward did some thinking.  Like I’ve said before, while I’m running, I shut my brain off.  It’s my time to just be.  Sure, I feel some pain here and there, but for the most part I am in my own little zone.  Time stands still as each stride I take moves me farther and farther down the road.

After a good long run is usually when I sense the most clarity in my life. It’s as though anything that was troubling me, or any stress I had felt, goes away. My own personal therapy session, if you will, minus the $250 an hour fee.

It’s the best time for me to open my mind to new ideas.  I’ve been putting a lot of focus on paying positivity forward.  I am constantly putting in a conscience effort day in and day out, to try and better someone else’s life.

This experiment has been ongoing for the past year and though I am no scientist or expert, I can promise you that when you pay it forward, the warmth and comfort you feel can get you through any obstacle you face.  Every mistake you make in life can teach you the secret.  Every breath you take can have meaning for greater good.  It’s just a matter of how far you are willing to go,  and just how much you are willing to test the strength of your soul.

If you’ve been following my story, you know I should be dead; but I’m not and I truly believe I have a purpose.  That purpose is to inspire those who have doubts and to push the limit of normal; but mostly to make you smile.

Every story has a happy ending, and if it is not happy, the stories not over.
